The first few haircuts for my guy were extremely difficult. He has some pretty intense sensory issues and would become very dysregulated during cuts. Thankfully we found Laura. We have been to see her a handful of times now and he hasn't cried or gotten upset once. Yesterday he was so excited to be there that he ran and tried to climb into the chair before I even checked us in. We are so grateful for Manta's and Laura for making haircuts a fun experience for him (and us) instead of a traumatic one .

We had the best experience here. The stylist we had was so calm and patient with my girl getting her first haircut. She gave me a lock of hair as well and sprayed some glitter in her hair, which she was obsessed with. Will definitely be visiting again when we are back in this neck of the woods.

This was the first non-home haircut for my daughter (4 years old) and Allison made her feel like a princess! She did great with her haircut and ended with an ‘Elsa braid’ and pink and purple colors! And then my son (2 years old) had his very first haircut today and Allison did an absolutely phenomenal job making him so comfortable and being so patient with such a wiggle worm! I’m so happy with the service and care given to our family! It was well worth the hour drive from Oak Island and we will be coming back here for all of our kids haircuts!

We had such a wonderful experience here yesterday! I scheduled an appointment for my son’s first hair cut with Laura who came highly recommended! LAURA was a ROCKSTAR!! She was incredibly patient with my 22 month old, even when he was a little nervous at first! Her calmness reassured my son there was nothing to be afraid of. We left extremely happy with zero fears and zero tears! Laura did a fantastic job & I am so pleased with my son’s haircut! My son even got a few compliments when we were out running errands after our appointment! THANKS AGAIN LAURA, we will definitely be back soon!!
